Warriors Community Foundation Rugby League Roadshow arrives in Timaru.

Written by Petrece Kesha

South Canterbury was the next stop for the Warriors Community Foundation Rugby League Roadshows with the community team visiting schools in Timaru, Ashburton, Geraldine, Rakaia and Temuka presenting the Prepare to Perform "Game Show".

Game Show Hosts NRL Player Temple Kalepo and NRLW Player Kanyon Paul kept the fun level at a fevered pitched rewarding participants with prizes while highlighting important aspects for everyone's wellbeing such as sleep, hydration and nutrition.

Friday night saw the team working alongside local Aoraki Rugby League committee members, engaging with over 80 of their hearty Rugby League recruits in a skills and drills session in a heavy Timaru fog at Ashbury Park. The committee members made sure that there was a hot sausage sizzle ready and waiting for the participants after their session.
