The Warriors Community Foundation is set to launch a campaign with The Good Sell. We are looking to raise $5,000 to deliver our creative writing programme to schools and kura across Aotearoa. Reading is many kids’ biggest challenge. League in Libraries encourages children to rediscover the enjoyment of reading and literacy as essential life skills through the support of engaging mentors and role models. UNICEF’s most recent report states that Covid-19 has wiped out 20 years of education gains with 9% of children in years 1-8 falling below the minimum reading proficiency levels in 2020. Our programme aims to support tamariki and rangatahi to reconnect with their aroha for creative writing.
It’s time to tackle the task of clearing out the garage.
All you need to do is find some items in your garage – they could be new or used - list them on The Good Sell platform and choose a % you would like to donate to the Warriors Community Foundation. You can choose to donate 25%, 50%, 75%, or donate the full 100%.
The campaign goes live on The Good Sell website on Thursday 2 December.
